The Most Beautiful Island in the World – BORA BORA

Bora Bora is an island in the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia and is mainly dependent on tourism. The most visited resorts are built on small islands surrounding the lagoon. Thirty years ago, Hotel Bora Bora built the first over-the-water bungalows on stilts over the lagoon and today, over-water bungalows are a standard feature of most Bora Bora resorts. Bora Bora’s lagoon is its most treasured feature, and allows the traveler many opportunities to experience it in a variety of ways: windsurf, jetski, scuba dive, snorkel, swim, bask in its warmth, windsurfing, waterskiing, jetboarding, kitesurfing. The place is also full of adventure like 4×4 safari, fishing cruise, parasailing, hiking and climbing.

Definitely unique to Bora Bora and a favorite of many travelers, the Bora exotic Lagoonarium. At the Bora Bora Lagoonarium, you will not only see, but actually interact with the amazing creatures of the Bora Bora lagoon as you swim alongside them with an experienced underwater guide. You can experience Shark and Ray Feeding Exhibitions, circle island tours, picnics on a private motu(small island) and snorkeling at the Coral Gardens.

Bora Bora

The island is famous for its art galleries because Bora Bora’s artists and craftsmen fall into a rare class of artistry. An important part of the culture of the Polynesian islands is tattooing. South Pacific Islanders have been decorating their bodies with symbolistic art for many hundreds of years, if not thousands. It is a great place to relax and enjoy what the nature has given us.

The island of Bora Bora, with a lagoon resembling an artist's palette of blues and greens, is love at first sight.Romantics from around the world have laid claim to this island where the castle-like Mount Otemanu pierces the sky. Lush tropical slopes and valleys blossom with hibiscus, while palm-covered motu circle the illuminated lagoon like a delicate necklace. Perfect white-sand beaches give way to emerald waters where colored fish animate the coral gardens as they greet the giant manta rays. This could be easily be described as the center of the romantic universe, where luxury resorts and spas dot the island with overwater bungalows, thatchedroof villas, and fabled ambience.
